Recently I have been relieved to have heard some good news about the economy. First of all, the the Rocky Mountain West has not fallen victim to the “housing slump.” The economy as well as the housing market in Wyoming is healthy and strong. Here in the Big Horn Basin we continue to see steady growth and gradual increase in home prices. I am fortunate to sell real estate in one of the most affordable communities in the state while still having bragging rights on all our recreational opportunities, small town charm and beautiful scenery.
I have always been a long-term thinker so I tend not to panic about ups, downs and corrections in the real estate, stock or other markets. There are seasons that are better for selling, other times better for buying. Nationally….this is one of the best times to buy we have seen in years.
In this area we have balanced market along with the advantage of the low interest rates so it is a great time to be in the market here in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming.
