Bananas! Should we eat them?

It’s true confession time for me. I don’t eat bananas; I can’t stand their texture. Now I learn how wonderful they are for our health! Since 2 bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90 minute workout, they’re the #1 fruit for the world’s leading athletes. The sustained energy comes from bananas’ fiber plus 3 natural sugars. If exercise isn’t your thing, they’re also good for anemia since they’re so high in iron and can stimulate hemoglobin production in the blood. I’m so happy, but since I don’t exercise excessively or suffer from anemia, I’m not eating the yucky things anyway.

This is home even though I enjoyed living in Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Carolina previously. With my husband, Dave, when we're not busy working we enjoy our Christian activities and being out of doors fly fishing, camping, golfing or snow shoeing. Wyoming is the best place to be for our active outdoor lifestyle.

    Bananas, 2nd Try

Let’s talk more about bananas, shall we! I still don’t like them and won’t eat them, but you may. Here’s a good reason to eat them. They’re good for CONSTIPATION and HANGOVERS! The high fiber is good for the first problem and they’re gentle on the touchy tummy which helps problem 2, hangovers. If you’re able to get off the couch to make a banana milkshake, even better! A spoonful of honey you’ll also get the benefits of upping your blood sugar level and the milk soothes and re-hydrates your ailing body! Well, currently I don’t have either problem, so I’m not having a banana today, thank you very much!
