What a blast Lisa and I had in the parade on Saturday! I can’t believe how much fun we had. Lisa drove her dad, Rich Wormington’s, 1930 Chevrolet Sedan hot rod. The parade was extremely well organized and I think the turn out was fantastic. There were lots of participants as well as huge crowds lining the sidewalks on both sides of the street. Throwing candy to the kids and waving to the people on the street was great. Everyone one loved Rich’s car. Especially the little boys….I loved how they would say, “check out that car!” as we passed by. Their attention would quickly turn to picking up the candy and gum that landed near their feet. Thank you to the parade organizers, volunteers, my sister, Lisa Bose, for making the signs and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Rich for letting us use his car.
