I have some exciting news! The Park County Board of REALTORs has voted to change their name to the Northwest Wyoming Board of REALTORs. I have been a member of this local Board since becoming a REALTOR in 1995 and it has benefited me tremendously. Lovell has always been in the jurisdiction of the PCBOR even though we are actually in Big Horn County. Recently the Board welcomed all of Big Horn County into it’s fold. This prompted the leadership to decide it was time for a name change as well. The Northwest Wyoming Board of Realtors! I think it has a ring to it. I am thrilled about this change and think the public whom we serve will have a better understanding of how the Multiple Listing Service functions and can benefit them. We are not just tagging along to a service that the Powell/Cody REALTORs are offering to their clients. We ARE the Northwest Wyoming Board of REALTORs and it encompasses both Park and Big Horn Counties located in the Northwest corner of the state.
There are still some formalities that need to take place before the name change becomes official with the National Association of REALTORs but I just couldn’t wait to blog about it!
