The Wyoming Health Fair was in Lovell this past Saturday, September 27th. The week prior you could have your blood drawn and decide on the various screenings to be preformed. On Saturday you could pickup your results at the Health Fair that was located at the Lovell High School Gym. This year there were a lot of great booths, something for everyone. I went with my mom and 2 of my grandkids. We enjoyed visiting with the many health care professionals and those in attendance at the varied health related booths. We visited the ambulance and the life flight helicopter and were very impressed with both. We are so fortunate to have this service available to us being in such rural and small communities. The public health nurses were there and reminded us of the flu shots that are being offered on October 17th from 9-12 at the senior citizens center. There is also a blood drive coming up at the North Big Horn Hospital on October 31st. It will be my first time donating, so I encourage you to join me! It’s a small way to make a big difference.
