My Family

Recently my husband and I met the family at beautiful Seeley Lake, Montana for a 60th Anniversary Celebration in honor of his parents.  What an event!  With over 50 people there was no lack of people to reconnect!  From the original couple we now have 7 children, 20 grandchildren and 9 great grands plus the assorted spouses.

We did a lot of great eating, swimming, laughing and even singing not to mention nonstop talking.

It’s amazing how time changes those people.  I certainly haven’t grown any older!   (Or have I?)  I still think of our generation as “the kids”…but now we kids are the grandparent generation.  Does this happen in other families?  All I know is that I’ll continue to NOT look in the mirror where my mother has been seen more and more.  This way I’ll stay as old as I want!

    How Wonderful! There is nothing more special than family. I am so happy that you were able to join in on the celebration and honor their 60th Anniversary. Hope you took a lot of pictures to save and share.
