I am finally getting a chance to blog about my road trip to Cheyenne last week. The Wyoming Association of REALTORs Mid-Winter Legislative Meetings is something I look forward too each year. I have driven home in some of the darnedest weather but other than that….I love it! In school I loved political science and government. I’m just fascinated by all 3 branches branches and it’s so cool to go down and watch the legislature at work. I know I am bias but….when you live in a state like Wyoming you actually have the opprotunity to get to know so many of the legislators personally. This time….my favorite part was Matt Mead’s visit to a small group of REALTORs.
Turn your speakers up…
I also love visiting the Capitol. I was able to speak with both Senator Ray Peterson and Representative Elaine Harvey about our real estate issues and made it back to Little America in time to catch a couple of Association meetings. We had a GREAT turnout for our reception that evening and the Governor came and stayed for quite awhile and mingled around the room visiting with all those who wanted to chat with him. It is great…..and I was so very proud to be a Wyomingite!
